I live, teach and work in Toronto, Canada. I use political economic theory and lots of empirical research to study the political economy of Hollywood.

I recently published a book titled THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF HOLLYWOOD: CAPITALIST POWER AND CULTURAL PRODUCTION. Next big project is on Netflix and streaming media.

I try blogging as much as I can.
