I'm a master's degree student studying applications of machine learning to engineering problems. I have always had strong political opinions and been a leftist from a young age. I've spent time as a minor official in a local Democratic party in the United States and that experience left me frustrated with the prospect of working with liberals to make material improvements to real peoples' lives.
