About Don - K4OOW

I got my Technician 1/2021, & General later in 2021. I earned my Amateur Extra in May of 2023. I selected a vanity call sign, K4OOW (My Dad is KA4OOW & working on reinstatement). My rig is an Icom 7300. I have an EFHW, the Chameleon modular antenna system and a set of HamSticks too, which allow for quite a few options at home and on the road. I like POTA hunting & activating, FT8/FT4 and have recently started learning CW & am now getting CW QSO's daily.
