About Andreas Heinemeyer

I started my scientific career in Göttingen (Germany ) in 1998 (Diploma in soil science, botany and biochemistry) and completed my PhD (climate impacts on C-cycling in the mycorrhizal symbiosis) at the University of York (UK) in 2002. Since then I have worked on #soilcarbon cycling in grasslands, forests and #peatlands. I measure and model #carbon #water #methane and #GHG emissions. I lead a long-term (2012-present) project assessing vegetation management impacts in heather-dominated peatlands.
